NVIDIA has announced DLSS 4.5, the latest version of its Deep Learning Super Sampling technology, as part of its CES 2026 updates. The new release brings further improvements to image quality and frame smoothness for GeForce RTX desktop and laptop GPUs, building on the company’s ongoing use of AI-driven rendering technologies.
According to NVIDIA, DLSS 4.5 uses updated AI models to enhance visual clarity while delivering higher performance across supported games and applications. The technology continues to rely on neural networks to upscale lower-resolution frames into higher-quality images, allowing systems to maintain smoother frame rates without increasing hardware demands.
The company stated that DLSS 4.5 provides upgrades aimed at both gaming and creative applications, expanding support for newer titles and improving visual consistency during fast-paced scenes. These enhancements are designed to benefit users across a wide range of GeForce RTX-powered devices.
NVIDIA also confirmed that additional information about future DLSS developments will be shared through GeForce.com, alongside other announcements made during CES 2026 related to gaming and application performance improvements.
