The OnePlus 15 is confirmed to launch on October 27, 2025, in China and may launch globally on November 13, 2025, including in India. The brand claims it is the industry’s first smartphone to bring aerospace-grade Micro-Arc Oxidation (MAO) to the frame and camera deco. This means it is 3.4x harder than an aluminum mid-frame and 1.3x as tough as a titanium mid-frame. The phone, previously seen on TÜV certification in September, now features a confirmed massive 7,300mAh battery supporting up to 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

The full specifications and storage variants have also been leaked and shared on Weibo. The screen measures 6.78-inches and features a flat BOE OLED 8T LTPO display with 1.5K resolution and an adaptive 165Hz refresh rate. It also features high-frequency 2160Hz PWM dimming, supports HDR10+ Dolby Atmos, and lights up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with Fengchi 2.0 gaming kernel. It comes with 12GB and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage and runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 (China), while the global version will debut with OxygenOS 16. The phone also comes in three color options: Sand Storm, Black, and Purple.
The camera of the OnePlus 15 uses a 50MP Sony LYT-700 OIS main camera, a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. On the front, it houses a punch-hole 32MP autofocus selfie shooter. The camera system also features an image engine called “DetailMax Image Engine,” but it seems to be available only in the China variant.
Other key specifications mentioned include support for an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, a large vibration motor, an IR blaster, NFC, USB 3.2 Gen 1, and a new cooling tech system.
The pricing has yet to be announced, and we will update this information once the phone officially launches. As per the video teaser and images shared by OnePlus India on X, the phone will soon be available on Amazon India.
