The OnePlus 15R has been confirmed for launch on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, at 7 PM IST, in Bengaluru, India. The announcement was posted on OnePlus’s official website in the country, stating that pre-order bonuses start at just ₹149, with a surprise value of ₹2,798.
Key Features & Specs
The OnePlus 15R is the global variant of the OnePlus Ace 6T, which recently launched in China — though it reduces the battery size from 8,300mAh to 7,400mAh. However, the brand claims it has the largest battery ever offered by OnePlus in a global variant.

In addition, the battery features “Silicon Nanostack” technology, with assured 80 percent capacity retention after four years of use, and is paired with 80W wired fast charging.
The device is powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, complemented by a “Touch Response Chip” and “G2 Wi-Fi Chip.” It comes with a 1.5K AMOLED display with a segment-first 165Hz refresh rate and runs on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.

For camera capabilities, the brand claims the phone can record 4K at 120fps — a feature typically found on higher-end flagship models. It is likely to use the same 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor as the Chinese variant.

Other features listed on the website include full water and dust resistance with IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings, and TÜV Eye Care 5.0 certification. The “Plus Key” is also included, providing quick access to various features and functions — especially those integrated with OnePlus’s AI capabilities.
