Oppo is set to launch its next flagship camera phone, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, with the launch date scheduled for April 21, 2026 in both China and global markets. Pre-orders are already open, with early teasers focusing on the device’s camera system.

In a recent post on X, Oppo highlighted the device’s advanced imaging setup, headlined by a 200MP primary sensor. The system appears to be one of the most ambitious yet in a smartphone, combining multiple high-resolution sensors and dual periscope zoom lenses. According to the brand, the rear camera configuration includes a 200MP Sony LYT-901 main sensor, a 50MP Sony LYT-600 ultra-wide lens, a 200MP OmniVision OV52A 3x periscope telephoto, a 50MP Samsung JNL 10x periscope, and a 3.2MP multispectral sensor.

Additional details were shared by Weibo tipster I am Ah Xing, who posted what appears to be a full specifications sheet for the upcoming device. The leak also revealed three color options: Polar Glacier (white), Earth Tundra (brown), and Velvet Sand Canyon (orange).

Based on the leaked information, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 2K resolution (3168 x 1440) and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Configurations may include 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB variants, alongside a 16GB + 1TB model with satellite communication support.

Battery capacity is listed at 7,050mAh, with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. On the front, the device is said to carry a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus.

The handset is also expected to ship with Android 16 layered with ColorOS 16. Other reported features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, IR blaster, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance. The phone measures 163.04 x 76.91 x 9.15mm and weighs 238 grams.

One notable addition is a Hasselblad-branded 300mm teleconverter kit, suggesting Oppo is continuing its collaboration with Hasselblad to push mobile photography further.

Before the Oppo Find X9 Ultra officially launches on April 21, the company is doubling down on its flagship’s reputation by packing high-end camera hardware into its latest premium contender.
