Finally, the Oppo Reno 12F 5G is officially announced to launch on August 20, 2024. The phone is now listed on their website and stores online, indicating the official launch and availability of the phone. However, there’s an exclusive early access event set in SM City Dasmariñas on August 24 at 4:00 PM featuring brand ambassador Bea Alonso.

The Oppo Reno 12F features AI including AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio, AI LinkBoost, and BeaconLink. The AI Eraser 2.0 can remove or delete unwanted objects in pictures and supports one-tap selection.

It also features AI LinkBoost, which ensures a steady connection with faster sharing and more precise navigation, regardless of network conditions. BeaconLink allows voice calls even when there’s no mobile signal by reaching out nearby supported by Bluetooth power.

The design of the phone comes in sleek and durable materials with a stylish flagship-inspired Cosmos Ring Design, giving it a luxurious look. Additionally, the halo light feature in the camera module can create a single or multi-color lighting effect for calls, music, charging, and more.

The Oppo Reno 12F 5G is crafted in a slim and lightweight design to feel comfortable, weighing 187 grams and with a thickness of 7.69mm. Apart from the design, the phone sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Amoled display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and protected by Asahi Glass AGC DT-Star2.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the 6nm Mediatek Dimensity 6300 paired with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 @1075MHz GPU. It will come with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB to 512GB UFS 2.2 storage.

The camera will sport a 50MP OIS AI Camera that can shoot 1080p @60 frames per second, while the ultra-wide sports an 8MP sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the phone is equipped with a 32MP camera that can shoot 1080p @30fps and features a retouch mode.

Additionally, the phone is packed with a rated 4870mAh battery with a typical 5,000mAh capacity, supporting a 45W SuperVOOC charge. The phone comes in two color options: amber orange and olive green.
