After the official trailer for Phantom Blade Zero was released on YouTube, the game hit more than 1 million wishlists in just 2 weeks. The update was posted on the game’s official X account, with the development team stating directly:
“From everyone on the dev team, thank you for the overwhelming support. Wishing you all a Happy New Year!”

The development team previously confirmed the official launch date as September 9, 2026, with additional wishlists anticipated in the lead-up to release. The game is currently available for wishlisting on Steam, PlayStation 5, and the Epic Games Store.
The game is an upcoming wuxia-themed action role-playing game (ARPG) developed by Chinese studio S-GAME. It has a unique style that blends traditional Chinese martial arts with steampunk and dark fantasy elements, called “KungfuPunk.”
S-GAME has regularly shared sneak peeks of in-game footage, including via PlayStation’s official X account. Based on the clips, the game is engineered to deliver a high-end cinematic experience through advanced technology: it is built in Unreal Engine 5, with support for Ray Tracing and DLSS 4. Notably, in-game combat showcases fluid, authentic movement, while detailed environments feature realistic graphics.
Hitting 1M wishlists in two weeks proves how hyped players are for Phantom Blade Zero’s unique KungfuPunk style. With its fluid, cinematic combat and 2026 launch on the horizon, all eyes are on S-GAME to deliver the epic fans are waiting for.
