The Poco Pad tablet was launched on May 23, 2024, in China alongside the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro. According to the company, this is the first tablet from POCO designed for work and gaming. The tablet was rebranded from Redmi Pad Pro to compete in the budget gaming tablet market. The Poco Pad spotted on shopee philippines with a promo price of PHP 14,199.

The tablet offers a 12.1-inch IPS LCD with a dynamic-switch 120Hz refresh rate, 2.5k resolution, and 12-bit 68 billion colors. The device is supported by Dolby Vision with a 16:10 aspect ratio, and the peak brightness reaches 600 nits. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch resistance.

The tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, a premium-midrange chipset from Qualcomm. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM LPDDR4X and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. The tablet supports external storage and offers up to 1TB via microSD cards.

The Poco Pad features a massive 10,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. Poco claims the tablet should last up to 16 hours of non-stop video streaming and 26 hours of music playback with just a 15-minute charge, which is very impressive.

The tablet boasts a premium sleek design, measuring 7.52mm thick and weighing 571 grams. It comes with a free Poco Pad Cover for extra protection, but accessories like the Poco Smart Pen and keyboard are not included. The device is available in dual color options.

The tablet sports an 8MP front and rear camera, while the speakers offer a quad speaker setup supported by Dolby Atmos for a cinematic experience. For connectivity, the tablet supports WI-FI 6 for fast internet access and Bluetooth 5.2. It also features a 3.5mm audio jack and MI Canvas for easy creation of project plans, paintings, and more. Additionally, the tablet runs on Android 14 with HyperOS on top and is available in dual color options.

Price and Availability

The Poco Pad has an early bird price of $300, approximately PHP17,499 in Philippine peso. After the launch promo ends, the tablet will be sold at the regular price of $330. It is currently available in China and online stores in the Philippines like Shopee. The tablet is now available on Shopee for PHP 14,199 as a limited promo offer.
