Realme GT 7 Pro: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 50MP Sony IMX906 camera, and Massive 6500mah battery

Realme announces its new flagship offering, the Realme GT 7 Pro, in China. The phone is now listed on its official website and available for purchase with a starting price of ¥3599, or about ₱29,699 when converted to Philippine pesos. The phone comes in three color options: Mars (orange), Star Trail Titanium, and Light Range (white).

The phone sports a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO Samsung Eco² Sky Screen OLED display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. The display resolution offers 1.5K with 450 ppi and supports up to 2600Hz dimming with 120% DCI-P3 color gamut for eye protection and up to 6000 nits peak brightness.

The design features a sleek and plain color with a metal frame on the back panel and a square-rounded corner camera island. It also features an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, while the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the new flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor paired with an Adreno 830 GPU. Memory options include 12GB/16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB, and up to 1TB of internal storage.

One of the phone’s standout features is its dual Sony camera system capable of underwater photography mode. The main sensor is a 50MP Sony IMX906 (1/1.56” | f/1.8 | 6P lens), and there’s a 50MP Sony IMX882 (1/1.95” | f/2.65 | 73mm) with up to 120X zoom for ultra-wide-angle telephoto. An 8MP Sony IMX355 serves as the ultra-wide-angle camera, while a 16MP sensor handles selfies.

The battery offers a massive 6500mAh capacity supporting 120W fast charging via Type-C. It also features an 11480mm² Tempered Dual VC Heatsink Cooling system to maintain the phone’s temperature during gaming.

For connectivity, it features a Sky communication system 2.0 to improve signal quality. Wireless connections supported include 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and Wi-Fi 7.

Other details include an X-axis linear motor for haptics, dual stereo speakers, and a Goodix small-size ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0.

Price and Availability

The Realme GT 7 Pro smartphone is now available for purchase in China with an early bird price at ¥3599. Three color variants are offered: Mars Orange, Star Trail Titanium, and Light Range White. However, availability in other regions has not yet been announced.
