Realme has officially launched the GT 8 in China, showcasing a suite of high-end features. Unlike the GT 8 Pro model, this device notably forgoes the interchangeable camera module. It is now available for purchase in China with a starting price of CNY 2,899, approximately ₱23,000 in Philippine pesos.

The Realme GT 8 features a 6.79-inch BOE Q10+ OLED flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K (3136×1440) resolution. The display boasts a peak brightness of 7,000 nits, along with 1nit hardware-level eye protection, full DC dimming, 10-bit color depth, and Dolby Vision support.

Internally, the smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a dedicated R1 gaming display chip. Memory configurations include LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Powering the device is a 7,000mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging and 10W reverse charging.

For photography, the Realme GT 8 sports a 16MP front camera. The rear setup comprises a 50MP primary camera with Ricoh GR anti-glare coating and OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom.

The device runs on Realme UI 7 based on Android 16 out of the box. Additional features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, a 7,000mm² VC cooling system, and an S1 signal chip.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, IR blaster, and USB-C. The phone is rated IP66/68/69 for dust and water resistance and is available in glass (8.2mm, 214g) and leather (8.3mm, 209g) variants with White (Glass), Green (Vegan Leather), and Navi (Glass) colorways.
