The Realme Neo 8 (model number RMX8899) has appeared in China’s 3C certification, hinting at an upcoming launch as early as January 2026. The certification reveals key details including an 8,000mAh battery.

Reliable X tipster Abhishek Yadav has confirmed the phone will launch in China in January 2026, followed by a global release under the name Realme GT8. According to his claims, the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC paired with the Adreno 829 GPU, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage.
For the display, reports suggest a flat Samsung AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The 8,000mAh battery from the 3C certification will also support 80W wired charging, Yadav added.
Other expected features include a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 water and dust resistance, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and an X-axis linear motor for enhanced haptics. A metal frame and glass back are also rumored.
