Redmi has officially launched the Redmi 15 5G in India, a smartphone with the slimmest profile in its segment despite featuring a 7,000mAh battery. Sales begin on August 28, 2025, via Amazon India, the Mi website, and offline stores, with a starting price of ₹14,999 (approximately $175 or ₱9,990). The brand is also offering special perks, such as a ₹1,000 bank discount (HDFC/SBI/ICICI) OR ₹1,000 off on exchanges. Below are the prices for each storage variant:

- 8GB+128GB: Rs 15,999 (~$185)
- 8GB+256GB: Rs 16,999 (~$195)
Redmi 15 5G Features and Specifications
The phone sports a 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a screen that lights up to 850 nits peak brightness. The dimensions measures 168.48 x 80.45 x 8.4mm abd weigh 217g.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip complemented by an Adreno 619 GPU. It runs on Android 15 with HyperOS skin on top, and the brand promises 2 years of OS upgrades and up to 4 years of security patches.
The camera bump is crafted with aerospace-grade camera deco and features a 50MP dual main camera setup. On the front, it houses an 8MP punch-hole selfie shooter.
Powering the device is a massive 7,000mAh battery coupled with 33W fast charging and support for 18W reverse wireless charging.
Other features include an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a single loudspeaker (Dolby certified), USB-C, OTG, Bluetooth 5.1, and an IR blaster. The Redmi 15 5G is currently available in India, while its availability in other regions, especially in the Philippines, has not been announced yet.
