Xiaomi Redmi has recently launched an affordable smartphone in indonesia, the Redmi A5 with a suggested retail price of IDR 1,199,000. The phone launched earlier in Bangladesh following in Indonesia while the availability in other regions including in the Philippines has not yet been announced.
Redmi A5 Features and Specs
The phone sports a large display measures 6.88-inch IPS LCD, 1640 x 720 HD+ resolution at 260 ppi, 120Hz refreshrate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The Redmi A5 received a triple TÜV Certifications including TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Software Solution), TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free, and TÜV Rheinland Circadian Rhythm Adjustment.
The design has a boxy rounded corners with AG frosted glass back panel, measures 171.7 x 77.8 x 8.26mm and weigh about 193 grams. The color options comes with Lake Green, Sandy Gold, and Midnight Black.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 12nm Unisoc T7250 (Unisoc T615) clocked at 1.8Ghz. For the memory and storage has offers a 4GB/128GB + exteded RAM and running in Android 15 Go Edition.
For the camera, it sports a 32MP f/2.0 main camera + an unspecified secondary sensor and an LED flash. On the front, it houses an 8MP teardrop selfie shooter that can shoot 1080p video at 30fps from both the front and back.
For connectivity features include WIFi5 2.4GHz/5GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
For the battery, it packed a massive 5,200mah capacity and support a USB Type-C 15W charging speed.
Other features include, side-mounted fringerprint scanner, AI face unlock, and Wet touch technology for touch accuracy.
