Xiaomi is ready to debut the Redmi K Pad in China, a compact tablet designed for gaming. The device is listed on the mi.com store in China, revealing its key features and design. However, the official launch date has yet to be announced, though rumors suggest it will be at the end of June 2025, alongside the Redmi K80 Ultra.

Key Features and Specifications

Earlier leaks, including Geekbench listings (model number 25079RPDCC), indicated the Redmi K Pad would use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip. This has now been officially confirmed by Xiaomi.

The Redmi K Pad features an 8.8-inch LCD display with a 3K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It also incorporates Xiaomi Qingshan Eye Care technology to reduce eye strain and promote healthier viewing habits. The display supports multi-level brightness, color calibration, and pro-grade color accuracy.

The tablet boasts an all-metal unibody design, measuring 6.4mm thick and weighing approximately 326 grams. It will be available in three colors. The rear panel houses a single camera with an LED flash.

Other features include a 7500mAh battery, dual USB-C ports (for simultaneous charging and headphone use), support bypass charging, a mid-mounted SoC cooling architecture, and 12050mm² aviation-grade VC heat dissipation.

The Redmi K Pad is expected to launch in China alongside the Redmi K80 Ultra later this month. A global variant, reportedly named the Poco F Pad (source: xiaomitime.com), is also anticipated. With its flagship-level design and powerful performance, the Redmi K Pad aims to compete with other compact gaming tablets such as the iPad Mini and Redmagic Tablet 3 Pro.
