The Xiaomi Redmi K70 Ultra extreme edition was recently launched in China alongside the Xiaomi MIX Flip and Xiaomi MIX Fold. The phone has a version called the Lamborghini SQUADRA CORSE edition.

The phone features a flagship processor, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ with D1 independent graphics chip. The D1 chip is a 12nm display chip that supports 3x interpolation up to a “1.5K resolution, capable of displaying 1080p content at 144Hz. The chip is designed to reduce power consumption during gaming by nearly 15%. Additionally, it includes a special 3D cooling chamber that can reduce temperature by 3 degrees. This configurations achieve over 2 million score in antutu benchmark.
The Redmi K70 Ultra Extreme Edition is designed with a metal frame and uses Longjing glass for the front and back for the first time. It is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, with dimensions of 8.39mm thickness and 211 grams weight. It also features a short-throw optical fingerprint scanner and an 0809 X-axis linear motor.
The phone has a 6.67-inch screen with a 1.5K+ resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate, using an 8T LTPS C8 OLED display. It also includes a 3840Hz PWM DC dimming for eye protection and a 480Hz touch sampling rate.
A key feature of the phone is the 120W fast charging to support the 5,500 mAh battery. It is equipped with a Xiaomi Pengpai P2 chip to monitor charging and a G1 chip to safeguard battery health.
The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition boasts a flagship-level camera sensor, the Sony IMX906 50MP OIS camera. It also includes an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensor, with a 20MP selfie shooter on the front.
Redmi K70 Ultra Extreme Edition Price and Availability
The starting price of the phone is CNY 2,599 for the base variant 12GB/256GB. The Lamborghini SQUADRA CORSE Edition 24GB/1TB is priced at CNY 3,999 or around PHP32K in direct conversion.
The phone is currently available on their official website in China. Global availability has not been announced yet, but it seems to be exclusive only in China.
