Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has unveiled detailed specifications for its upcoming K90 smartphone ahead of its official launch on October 23, 2025, in China. The device, teased extensively on Weibo, promises upgrades in design, performance, and audio capabilities.

The Redmi K90 Standard Edition features a 6.59-inch OLED display, adopting advanced imaging technology previously seen in the Xiaomi 17 Series. Its design mirrors the iPhone 17’s integrated cold-forging construction, emphasizing durability and a sleek profile.
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the K90 targets high-end performance efficiency. Redmi confirmed a collaboration with Bose for its audio system, incorporating dual symmetrical speakers and a 2.1-channel setup that includes a rear-facing Bose unit. The configuration matches the higher-tier K90 Pro Max model, marketed as delivering “innovative acoustic experiences.”
The device includes a telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom, though further camera details remain undisclosed. A 7,100mAh battery supports the K90, paired with 100W wired fast charging—a specification aimed at addressing high-usage demands.
The Redmi K90 series will debut at an event in Beijing on October 23, 2025, at 7:00 PM local time. Pricing and regional availability are expected to be announced during the launch.
The K90’s specifications suggest Redmi’s continued focus on integrating flagship-level hardware into its devices, competing directly with rivals in design, battery capacity, and multimedia features.
