Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy A07 5G in the Philippines to bring a budget 5G smartphone with up to 6 years of OS upgrades to the market. The phone starts at PHP 8,290 for the 4GB/64GB storage variant, while the 128GB variant is priced at PHP 9,990. It is now available on the official website and online stores such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
Key Features and Specifications
The phone has a very similar design to the Galaxy A07 4G model launched last year, but it is a slightly upgraded version, particularly in terms of 5G connectivity.
It features a glass fiber reinforced polymer back with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Measuring 167.4 x 77.4 x 8.2mm and weighing 199 grams, it is available in Light Violet and Black colorways.
The display measures 6.7-inch PLS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and 720 x 1600 (HD+) resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core 5G processor and runs on One UI 8.0, with up to 6 years of OS upgrades.
For cameras, it features a 50MP + 2MP rear camera setup and an 8MP selfie shooter. Video recording supports 1080p resolution at 30fps and HD slow motion at 120fps.
In terms of battery, it packs a 6,000mAh capacity and is paired with 25W wired fast charging.
For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Other features include support for a microSD card up to 2TB, Samsung Knox Vault, and Google Gemini AI.
