The Samsung Galaxy A56 has been spotted in several certifications, imminent for its near launch. The phone is a direct successor of the Galaxy A55 5G with significant specification upgrades, including the charging speed. Rumors suggest that it sports 45W fast charging, which could be the first ever in the Samsung Galaxy A series.
Samsung Galaxy A56 5G Certifications
The phone has been spotted on the 3C Certification website in China with model number SM-A5660, indicating the 45W charging speed. This is a huge upgrade to its predecessor, which has only 25W fast charging. However, the 3C listing suggests that the phone will be sold without a charger; it is not included in the retail box.
The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G suggests that the phone is running on the latest Android 15. Rendered images of the phone have also been revealed; some leakers suggest that the phone will have the same camera island as its predecessor, with a triple camera setup on the back panel and a punch-hole camera system on the front.
Under the hood, rumors suggest that the phone is powered by the Samsung Exynos 1580 octa-core processor. The chip architecture is 1x 2.9 GHz – Cortex-A720, 3x 2.6 GHz – Cortex-A720, and 4x 1.95 GHz – Cortex-A520, and paired with the Samsung Xclipse 540 GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G has also been spotted on Geekbench listings, revealing performance and features. The phone scored 1,341 in single-core and 3,836 in multi-core tests; this performance suggests that it is on par with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
However, the full specifications of the phone are under wraps, and the company will confirm all details on its official launch. While the phone is expected to launch in early 2025, we expect some details from reliable sources before its unveiling.
