After several teasers of the Samsung Galaxy F06, the company has officially announced the launch of its newest budget-friendly phone in India. The report was posted on Samsung’s X page, teasing a promotional video; the phone will be launch on February 12th, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST.
The expected price of the Galaxy F06 will be under Rs. 10,000, which is equivalent to around PHP 6,000 in Philippine pesos. The phone offers a 5G smartphone in a budget segment, making it one of the most affordable 5G phones in the country. The phone is now listed on Samsung’s website and Flipkart Store and is available for pre-order.
Samsung Galaxy F06 Design and Features
The phone has a sleek and stylish design with a boxy frame and curved edges. The design is similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy F05. On the front, it has a teardrop selfie camera, which some consumers may consider outdated. The volume rocker and power button are located on the right-side edge of the phone.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy F06 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G octa-core processor paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The company says it will support all networks with 12 5G bands and offer seamless and faster connectivity.

- OS Updates: 4 years OS upgrades, 4 years security patches
One of the main highlights of the phone is support for up to 4 years of major OS upgrades and 4 years of security patches. It’s not mentioned whether it will run on Android 14 or the latest Android 15. Memory options include 4GB/6GB of RAM + up to 6GB of additional virtual RAM, while internal storage offers only a 128GB variant.
