Samsung has launched a new budget-friendly smartphone in India, the Galaxy M06 5G alongside the Galaxy M16. The phone is now listed on Samsung’s website in India and is available for pre-order, starting at INR 9,499 for the base storage variant.
Samsung Galaxy M06 Features and Specs
One main feature of the Galaxy M06 is its up to 4 years of software upgrades—very rare for entry-level phones. The back design is similar to the Galaxy M16, with a diagonal pattern created by light reflections and a vertically aligned dual-lens camera module.
Powering the device is a Mediatek Dimensity 6300 octa-core 5G processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage, running Android 15 out of the box. Micro-SD card support is available for up to 1.5TB of extended storage.
The front features a 6.7-inch PLS LCD with HD+ (720 x 1600) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and up to 16M colors. It has an 8MP f/2.0 punch-hole selfie camera, a design some users may find outdated.
The main camera has a vertical alignment with a 50MP F1.8 AF sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Camera features include up to 10X digital zoom, 1080p at 30fps video recording, and 720p at 120fps HD slo-mo video.
Other features include a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, dual nano SIM, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2.4GHz+5GHz.
