Samsung Galaxy M44, the latest smartphone in the Galaxy M series, has been launched in South Korea with a surprising feature: the Snapdragon 888 chipset. This is the same processor that powers the flagship Galaxy S24 series, which makes the Galaxy M44 a very powerful device in the mid-range segment.
Samsung Galaxy M44 Specs
The Galaxy M44 features a 6.58-inch PLS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. The front-facing camera is a 13MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture.
The Galaxy M44 comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 13 out of the box, with Samsung’s One UI 4.0 on top. It also has a fingerprint scanner, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Galaxy M44 packs a 5000mAh battery, which supports 25W fast charging. The phone is available in three colors: Night Blue, Prism Silver, and Waterfall Blue. The price of the Galaxy M44 starts at (around $332) or PHP around PHP 18,500 (direct convertion) for the 6GB/128GB variant.
The Galaxy M44 is expected to launch in other markets soon, but there is no official confirmation from Samsung yet. The phone is a great option for those who want flagship performance at a lower price, as the Snapdragon 888 chipset is one of the best processors in the market right now in a meidrange segment. The Galaxy M44 also offers a large display, a long-lasting battery, and a versatile camera system, making it a well-rounded device for any user.
