Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy M55 5G, which recently made an appearance on Geekbench. The device, with the model number SM-M556B, was benchmarked and revealed some exciting details about its specifications.
Galaxy M55 Geekbench listing
According to the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy M55 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. This marks a significant shift from its predecessor, the Galaxy M54, which featured the Exynos 1380 processor. The inclusion of the Snapdragon chipset is expected to bring improvements in performance and battery life.
In terms of memory, the Galaxy M55 is listed with 8 GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and efficient performance. The device is also expected to run on Android 14, likely with Samsung’s One UI 6 on top, offering a user-friendly and feature-rich experience.
While the benchmark scores of the Galaxy M55 cannot be directly compared to other smartphones due to the use of an older version of Geekbench, the single-core score of 3,575 and multi-core score of 11,330 indicate a capable performance. However, it remains to be seen how the device will stack up against its competitors once it is officially launched.
Samsung enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the release of the Galaxy M55 to see how it fares in real-world usage scenarios. The smartphone is expected to bring a host of exciting features and improvements, making it a worthy contender in the mid-range segment.
