The Sony Xperia 10 VII was announced on September 12, 2025, in the UK, with a suggested retail price of £399. The phone will be released on Friday, September 19, and will be available in three color variants: White, Turquoise, and Charcoal Black. Special deals and offers include a free wireless headset, and a style cover costs £15, bringing the total to £414, including the phone.
Sony introduces a new design language for the first time this year in the 7th generation midrange Xperia. The phone’s design features two prominent camera lenses arranged horizontally on the upper part of the phone’s back. It measures 153 x 72 x 8.3mm, weighs 168 grams, and features IP65 + IP68 dust and water resistance.
The display measures 6.1″ and is an OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features an in-house Triluminous display and supports 10-bit tonal gradation with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 display protection as well.
Inside, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 with Adreno 710 GPU and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone runs on Android 15 with up to 4 years of OS upgrades and 6 years of security patches.
For the main cameras, it sports a 50MP f/1.9 lens with a 1/1.56-inch Exmor RS sensor and supports OIS/EIS. Beside it is a 13MP f/2.4 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera and an LED flash. On the front, it uses an 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter with a 1/4-inch sensor.
For the battery, it houses a 5,000mAh capacity with 30W fast charging featuring Xperia Adaptive Charging, Battery Care, and Sony Stamina Mode. The brand claims it can last up to two days on a single charge.
Other features include 360 Reality Audio Certified, 360 Reality Audio Upmix, DSEE Ultimate, stereo recording, and front-firing stereo speakers. It also supports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dedicated shutter button, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual SIM with Nano SIM, and microSDXC support (up to 2 TB).
