Tecno recently launched the Tecno Pova Curve 5G, now available in India with a starting price of ₹15,999 (approximately ₱10,400 Philippine pesos). The phone is available for pre-order via Flipkart; sales begin June 5th, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
Tecno Pova Curve 5G Details
The phone sports a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 2304Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for eye protection. The display reaches 1,800 nits of peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The design is starship-inspired, with a 7.5mm thin profile; the company claims it is India’s slimmest smartphone to date. The phone comes in Magic Silver, Neon Cyan, and Geek Black colorways.
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate, paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It runs on Android 15 with HiOS 15, upgradable to Android 16, with two years of security patches.
In terms of cameras, it features a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The front houses a 13MP sensor for selfies and video calls. Both front and rear cameras can shoot 4K video at 30 fps.
The battery packs a massive 5,500mAh capacity with 45W fast charging and bypass charging to prevent overheating during use or gaming.
Other features include Ella AI with Indian language support, an 11-layer hyper-cooling system, an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, and NFC connectivity.
The Tecno Pova Curve 5G is available for pre-order in India via Flipkart, starting at ₹15,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant and ₹16,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. Availability in other regions, especially the Philippines, has not yet been announced. This phone is likely a strong contender in the budget 5G segment.
