Tecno is preparing to launch a new device in its Spark series, which is the Tecno Spark 20. The phone has been spotted on Google Play Console, revealing some of its key specifications and design.
According to the Google Play Console listing (source gsmarena), the Tecno Spark 20 will feature a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, which is a 4G processor with an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G52 GPU. The phone will also have 4GB of RAM and run on Android 13 out of the box.
The display of the Tecno Spark 20 will have a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels (HD+) and a pixel density of 320 ppi. The screen will also sport a punch-hole cutout at the center for the selfie camera. The listing also shows the front design of the phone, which has thin bezels and a power button and volume rockers on the right side.
The phone is expected to be a budget-friendly smartphone that will offer decent performance and features. The phone is likely to launch soon, as it has already received certification from Google. However, the exact launch date, price, and availability of the phone are still unknown.
The Tecno Spark series also includes other models, such as the Spark Go 2024 and the Spark 20C, which have also been spotted on various certification platforms. The Spark Go 2024 will have a Unisoc T606 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and Android 13. The Spark 20C will have a quad-camera setup at the back and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Tecno Spark 20 is expected to compete with other budget smartphones in the market, such as the Redmi 10, the Realme C25s, and the Samsung Galaxy M22. These phones also offer similar specifications and features, such as a 6.5-inch HD+ display, a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a 48MP quad-camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery . However, the Tecno Spark 20 may have an edge over them with its Android 13 operating system which is brings a new features and improvements, such as improved privacy controls, redesigned widgets, and adaptive charging.
