Tecno Mobile has officially launched the slimmest and lightest 5G smartphone with a massive battery in India with the introduction of the new Tecno Spark Go 5G. The launch date was set for Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 12:00 PM. However, the sale will start on August 21, 2025, at Amazon India and Flipkart with a suggested retail price of ₹9,999.
Spark Go 5G Features
The phone features a sleek and modern design with a horizontal camera alignment. It will be available in Black, Green, Purple, and Blue colorways.
The brand claims it is India’s first and slimmest lightweight 5G smartphone in the country, measuring just 7.99mm thin and weighing only 194g.
The phone sports a 6.74-inch IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ screen resolution. It has a thin profile, measuring 7.99mm thick and weighing only 194 grams. On the back panel, it houses a 50MP main camera, while on the front, it has a punch-hole 5MP selfie shooter.
Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chip with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and runs on HiOS 15, which is based on Android 15.
For connectivity, this phone supports 5G network carrier aggregation and, a first in its segment, 4×4 MIMO support. It also features “FreeLink” connectivity, enabling texts and calls even without a network via Bluetooth.
The Tecno Spark Go 5G is also equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) via “Ella AI” and supports Indian languages. For AI productivity, it features “Circle to Search,” AI writing, and more.
One notable feature of the phone is its massive 6,000mAh battery capacity and its IP64 rating for water and dust resistant. The Tecno Spark Go 5G will start sales on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Flipkart and Amazon India, while its availability in other regions, including the Philippines, has yet to be confirmed.
