Toyota GAZOO Racing (TGR) will headline Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, taking place January 9–11 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Japan. The booth, located in the North Hall alongside other Toyota Group members including Daihatsu and Toyota Industries, will feature the first public display of the recently unveiled GR GT and GR GT3 flagship models—with both set for their debut demo runs on January 10.

Flagship Models Take Center Stage
The GR GT and GR GT3, which made their world premiere on December 5, will be showcased with cutaway displays revealing Toyota’s first all-aluminum body frame and a production-vehicle 4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine. Also on exhibit are development models like the GR Yaris MORIZO RR and the GR Yaris Sébastien Ogier 9x World Champion Edition, alongside additional concept vehicles.
Chairman Akio Toyoda (known as Master Driver Morizo) will appear at a media-only press conference on January 9 at 9 a.m., which will be live-streamed to the public. Throughout the three-day event, TGR will host talk sessions with Morizo and international drivers, plus additional demo runs featuring rally cars.
New Merchandise and Collaborations
The TGR booth will offer exclusive official merchandise, including a 1/43 scale model three-car set (Toyota 2000GT, Lexus LFA, GR GT) tied to the “THE OVERTAKE” television commercial, and a standalone GR GT3 scale model.

Launching at the event are collaborative products: sunglasses with Oakley and apparel with New Era, marking the first release of these co-branded items.

Digital and Parts Innovations
January 9 will see the relaunch of the “GR Passport” app as the all-new GR app, designed to support GR owners’ lifestyles with features like a “Home Garage” function, rank-based rewards for purchases and event participation, and purchasing lottery applications. Details will be announced closer to launch.

TGR will also exhibit prototype GR Heritage Parts for 2026 release, including an A80 Supra dashboard (paired with the reissued gauge-area panel) and 4A-GE engine components for the AE86 (due May 2026). Reproduced parts for the A70 Supra, A80 Supra, and Land Cruiser will also be on display.
In addition, “GR PERFORMANCE SOFTWARE” will be available for hands-on experience—expanding Circuit Mode functionality for select models to unlock greater performance in diverse driving scenarios. A wide range of current and in-development GR Parts will also be showcased.
