Vivo G2 Design
The Vivo G2, listed with the model number PD2318, features a center-aligned punch-hole cutout display and a slightly thicker chin. The back panel showcases a squarish camera module housing two sensors. The device is available in a stylish blue color option. The design of the Vivo G2 is reminiscent of the Vivo Y78 (t1) and Y78m (t1) models.

According to the certification listing, the Vivo G2 is equipped with a MediaTek MT6833 processor. The chipset consists of two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores ticking at 2GHz. The device also features a Mali G57 GPU. This chipset setup corresponds to the MediaTek Dimensity 700, which has now been rebranded as Dimensity 6020. The Vivo G2 is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and will run on Android 13 operating system out of the box.
Comparison with Vivo Y78 (t1) and Y78m (t1)
The Vivo Y78 (t1) and Y78m (t1) were launched in China last October and are powered by the Dimensity 6020 chipset. It is expected that the Vivo G2 will also be equipped with this powerful chipset, as per the certification listing.
