Vivo has officially launched a lower mid-range smartphone in China with the introduction of the Vivo G3 5G. This phone is available in only one color, “Diamond Black,” and starts at CNY 1,499 (roughly ₱11,899) for the 6GB/128GB storage variant. 3. The device was launched in China on August 16, 2025, and is currently available for purchase at physical retail locations throughout the country.
vivo G3 5G Features and Specifications
The phone sports a 6.74-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and runs on OriginOS 5 based on Android 15.
The dimensions measure 167.3 x 76.95 x 8.19mm, and it weighs 204 grams. It features an IP64-rated body for water and dust resistance and is certified SGS five-star for drop resistance.
The main camera is a 13MP f/2.2 CMOS sensor main shooter, and there is a water drop-notch 5MP f/2.2 selfie shooter. It also features face recognition for face unlock.
Powering the device is a massive 6,000mAh battery with 44W flash charge. Other mentioned details include support for a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 5 connectivity, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The vivo G3 5G is currently available in China and can be purchased via the offline market. There are two storage configurations: 6GB/128GB for CNY 1,499 and 8GB/256GB, which costs CNY 1,999. There is no word yet on its availability in other regions, especially in the Philippines, regarding whether they will bring this smartphone here.
