Vivo has recently launched a new smartphone in its Y-series, the Vivo Y78T, in China. The device offers some impressive features for its price range, such as a 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, and a massive 6,000 mAh battery.
The Vivo Y78T sports a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate for smooth scrolling and gaming. The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Inside the Vivo Y78T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, which is based on a 4nm process and has eight cores (four Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55). The device comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 on top.

camera department it features a dual-cam setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The primary camera can record 4K videos at 30fps. The selfie camera is an 8MP sensor that can capture 1080p videos at 30fps.
The battery of the phone packs a huge 6,000 mAh that supports 44W wired charging fast charging. The device also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The device does not have NFC or wireless charging.
The phone comes in three color options: Black, Blue, and Silver. The device is priced at CNY 1,499 ($205)(PHP11,615) for the 8/128GB variant and CNY 1,699 ($230)(PHP13,165 for the 12/256GB variant. The device is expected to go on sale in China on October 22.
