Vivo is preparing to launch a new tablet, the Vivo Pad 3, which will reportedly be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. This is according to a tipster who shared the information on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website.
Vivo Pad 3 Specifications
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 is the first smartphone chip to use all big cores, consisting of four Cortex-X4 and four Cortex-A720 processors that offer the ultimate performance. The chip also boasts a 12-core GPU with hardware ray tracing, generative AI capabilities, 320MP camera support, and Ultra HDR support. The chip is manufactured using a 4-nanometer process technology and supports the world’s fastest smartphone memory, LPDDR5T 9600Mbps.
The Vivo Pad 3 will be the successor to the Vivo Pad 2, which was launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset earlier this year. The Vivo Pad 2 features an 11-inch 2.5K display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, P3 wide color gamut, and Dolby Vision support. It also has a dual camera setup with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a stylus support, a 8040mAh battery with 44W fast charging, and a magnetic connector for accessories.
Launch and availability
The Vivo Pad 3 is expected to have similar or improved specifications than the Vivo Pad 2, but with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset as the main difference. The tipster did not reveal any other details about the Vivo Pad 3, such as the launch date, price, or availability.
However, it is possible that the Vivo Pad 3 could be announced alongside the Vivo X100 Ultra, which is rumored to be the top-end model of the Vivo X100 series and powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The Vivo X100 recently launch with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset on November 13th.
The Vivo Pad 3 will be one of the few tablets to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, which is designed to provide enthusiasts with fast, full ray tracing experiences and console-level global illumination effects.
