Vivo’s upcoming flagship X300 series has taken a critical step toward launch after two models (V2502A and V2502DA) received certification from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT). Reports confirm that the listings reveal key specifications, satellite messaging, and Android 16, confirming the September launch timeline for the X300 Series.

Vivo X300 Series Certification Details
The CMIIT filings reveal:
- V2502DA variant includes support for Beidou-3 satellite messaging, a first for Vivo smartphones.
- Both models will run Android 16, Google’s yet-unreleased OS, suggesting Vivo may be among the first brands to adopt the software.
- A 6,375mAh battery (possibly a rated value) is listed, potentially translating to a ~6,200mAh typical capacity for extended usage.
The inclusion of Beidou-3 satellite connectivity in the V2502DA strongly indicates this model will launch as the Vivo X300 Pro. This feature aligns with recent industry trends, following Huawei and Apple’s satellite-enabled devices. The technology would allow emergency texting in areas without cellular coverage.

With CMIIT and radio certifications now cleared, Vivo is expected to complete remaining regulatory approvals (3C, TENAA) in the coming weeks. Sources suggest a late September launch in China, positioning the vivo X300 series as a premium competitor ahead of the Q4 2025 flagship race.
A Vivo device (model V2509A) with the unannounced Dimensity 9500 chipset recently surfaced on Geekbench, fueling speculation that the X300 line could debut MediaTek’s next-gen flagship SoC.
