This month, Vivo is expanding its collection of premium mid-range smartphones. Hot on the heels of the Vivo Y200i’s debut last month, the company has announced the addition of the Y200 GT and Y200t to its Y200 Series lineup. The new models are set to be introduced in China on May 20th, 2024.
Aside from the news of the phone’s launch, there are rumored key specifications that have been revealed by reliable leakers and images of the phone. The design of the Vivo Y200 GT is almost similar to the recently launched IQOO Z9 in China, but it has a plastic middle frame and a plastic back cover.

The phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K Huaxing C8 LTPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, which is a premium-midrange SoC from Qualcomm. The phone has 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Rumors suggest that the phone is packed with a premium 50MP LYT600 series camera sensor, which we expect to be a decent camera sensor from Sony. Additionally, the phone is equipped with a huge 6000mAh battery capacity coupled with 80-watt fast charging.
