Xiaomi launched the vanilla Xiaomi 15 5G globally along with Xiaomi 15 Ultra, following its debut in China in October 2024. The event occurred at MWC 2025 Barcelona on March 2, 2025, at 14:00 GMT+1, and was live-streamed on their official social media accounts and platforms. The phone is now available in many regions, including the Philippines, where it is listed on Shopee and Lazada.

The vanilla Xiaomi 15 5G sports a compact profile, a 6.36-inch 12-bit LTPO AMOLED display, with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2670 x 1200 resolution, and up to 3200 nits peak brightness.
The body has boxy-rounded corners, measuring 152.3 x 71.2 x 8.08 mm and weighing about 181 grams. It comes in Black, White, Asakusa Green, Lilac, Bright Silver, and Orange. Additionally, a Diamond Limited Edition (Glacier White and Elephant Gray) is available at a higher price.
Inside, it is powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Memory options include 256GB and 512GB storage variants, with 12GB of RAM.
For imaging, it features a triple Leica camera with Hyper OIS, housing a 50MP f/1.62 Light Fusion 900 main camera sensor. The ultrawide also boasts a 50MP f/2.2 sensor, and the telephoto features a 50MP f/2.0 sensor; all have Leica Summilux lenses with OIS. The front has a 32MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.
The battery packs a 5240mAh capacity with 90W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging.
Other features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7, an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, Dolby Atmos, and an IR blaster.
