The Xiaomi 15 series is rumored to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, according to Digital Chat Station, a reliable source of information. The phone is expected to be launched in mid-october 2024, along with the release of the said chipset.

As per report, the chip self developed architecture Nuvia will use a 2+6 configuration, which is 2 high-performance cores with speeds of 3.6 – 4.0 GHz and 6 efficiency cores. The Xiaomi 15 series is said to be the first device to use this powerful chip.

Aside from that, there are also leaks comparing the bezels of the based Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 14. According to leaks from Weibo, the chin has been reduced to a whopping 1.5mm from 1.71mm, the side and top borders are 1.5mm, and the front camera cut-out has been reduced to 2.5mm from 3.9mm on Xiaomi 14. For the camera, it is rumored that the core product line iteration of the Xiaomi 15 series will all feature 50MP OV50H customized Omnivision main cameras, which are integral to the next-generation Leica optical system.
