Xiaomi’s President of Mobile Phone, Lu Weibing, has confirmed the Xiaomi 15 Ultra Global Launch. Reports from iThome indicate a debut sometime next month, with Weibing specifying a simultaneous release in China and globally after the Chinese New Year (Spring Festival).
Some reports also suggest the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s global launch is scheduled to coincide with Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. This prestigious event, typically held at the end of February and beginning of March, provides a fitting stage for the introduction of Xiaomi’s newest flagship smartphone.
This suggests a strong likelihood of the phone hitting the market by the end of February, although Weibing offered no explicit confirmation.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra Global Launch: Rumored Features
To recall, the phone is rumored to use the latest flagship processor, Snapdragon 8 Elite, and we expect a significant upgrade to its predecessor. It will also sport a 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
For the camera, as usual, it is partnered with Leica optics like their previous flagship series, with a Sony LYT-900 main camera sensor. The ultrawide comes with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5, a 50MP telephoto, and a 200MP periscope telephoto with 100x AI zoom.
Further details suggest the phone will pack a massive 6,000mAh battery capacity paired with 90W HyperCharge. A subsequent post also claimed to have spotted the device running through a certification listing that can support satellite texting capabilities.

While an exact launch date remains unconfirmed, the convergence of Weibing’s announcement, reports pointing to a post-Chinese New Year release, and the potential MWC unveiling strongly indicates a global launch for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra very soon, likely before the end of February.
