The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G was first launched in China and recently released in India for the global variant. However, the availability in other regions, especially in the Philippines, is set to early next year, in the early months of 2025. The phone comes with significant upgrades to its predecessor, including the performance, camera, and battery capacity.

The phone has the same iteration of a 6.67-inch display as its predecessor with an Amoled panel, 2100 nits peak brightness, and a 120hz refresh rate. The screen has a resolution of 1080×2400 FHD+ at 395 ppi, and the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G is crafted for comfort and a premium feel, with dimensions of 162.4 x 75.7 x 8mm and a weight of 190 grams. The phone comes in Phantom Purple, Mystique White, and Titan Black.
Inside, the device is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7025 “Ultra” paired with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. The memory comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM with an additional 8GB of dynamic RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage.
At the back panel, there is a triple camera setup, a 50MP Sony LYT-600 with optical image stabilization. Along with the main camera, there is an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and an LED flash. On the front, it houses a punch-hole 20MP selfie shooter.
For the battery, it is packed with a 5,110mAh capacity and paired with 45W fast charging. The battery also has a “Smart Charging Engine” featuring battery health management, overnight protection, real-time battery protection, outdoor charging, and navigation power conservation.
For connectivity, it supports WIFI 5 (2.4G / 5G) 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, IR Blaster, Dual Nano SIM w/ 5G data connectivity, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, OTG, and supports a 3.5mm audio jack.
Other features include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, Graphite 7,820.5mm² cooling system, IP64 for water & dust resistance, AI features, and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
Additionally, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G is running on Android 14 with HyperOS skin on top. The company promises 2 years of OS upgrades and up to 4 years of security patches.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G Price and availability
The Redmi Note 14 has a starting price in India of INR18,999 for the 6GB/128GB based variant or about PHP13,000 when converted into Philippine pesos. The 8GB/256GB variant is priced at INR21,999 or about PHP15,000 pesos, while the availability in the Philippines is set to early next year, in the early months of 2025.
