Redmi is preparing to launch its latest entry-level phone, the Redmi 13. The phone has been the subject of leaks regarding its key specifications, suggesting a significant upgrade from its predecessor. The Redmi 13 4G features with the new mid-range processor from Mediatek, the Helio G91-Ultra octa-core processor, FHD+ display and 33W fast charging.
Redmi 13 4G Features
As per credible sources, the Redmi 13 4G is rumored to sport a 6.79-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, maintaining consistency with its predecessor. Internally, the phone is driven by the Mediatek Helio G91 processor, featuring a CPU architecture of 2X Cortex-A75 @2.0GHz and 6X Cortex-A55 @1.8GHz, complemented by an Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.
Shifting focus to the camera setup, reports suggest that the phone will boast a 108MP primary sensor alongside a 13MP front camera, representing a notable enhancement over its predecessor’s 50MP main camera and 8MP selfie camera.
In terms of storage configurations, users can choose between two variants: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. Operating on Android 14 with HyperOS, the Redmi 12 is powered by a sizable 5,030mAh battery and supports rapid 33W charging.
The Redmi 13 4G is set to launch globally on June 5th, 2024. The expected cost of the phone is around PHP8K.
