Vivo V50 Design and Features
According to the website listing, the phone boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The Vivo V50 features a quad-curved display with a 41-degree curvature, unlike its predecessor’s dual-curved edge panel. This means the V50’s display curves subtly on all four sides, compared to the V40’s curves only on the left and right. It’s also protected by Diamond Shield glass for enhanced drop resistance.

The Vivo V50 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor—the same as its predecessor. It runs on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15, featuring AI technologies like AI Transcript Assist, AI Studio Light Portrait 2.0, Vivo Live Call Translation, Circle to Search, and Google Gemini.
For imaging, it features a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP selfie camera. As usual, it incorporates ZEISS optics for enhanced photography, continuing the company’s partnership that began in 2020. The rear camera also features an Aura Light with AI 3D Studio Light Portrait 2.0 to minimize harsh glare and provide a natural glow in various lighting conditions.

Vivo claims the V50 is India’s first slimmest smartphone in its category with a 6,000mAh battery and 90W fast charging. Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 6 support.
The official website currently lists only these key specifications; the full specifications and features of the Vivo V50 will be revealed at its official launch. The phone’s price is rumored to be ₹37,999 (approximately PHP 25,000 in Philippine pesos).
The Vivo V50 promises a compelling blend of slim design, powerful performance, and advanced camera capabilities. Its quad-curved display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, and impressive 50MP OIS camera system, coupled with AI-enhanced features and a large battery, position it as a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone market. The official launch will reveal further details and confirm its pricing and availability in other regions.
