Poco has announced the upcoming successor to the Poco M6 5G, that was released in 2023. Yesterday, the company posted on X, confirming the Poco M7 5G’s launch date as March 3, 2025, at 12 PM in India. The phone is already listed on the Poco store and Flipkart, indicating key specifications and features of the phone.
Poco M7 5G Key Specs and Features
The Poco M7 5G features a large 6.88-inch display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The listing does not mention the display panel type, but it appears to be an IPS LCD, consistent with the M series. The screen has an HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Additionally, it features TÜV Rheinland-certified eye-safe display features, including TÜV Low Blue Light, TÜV Flicker-Free, and TÜV Circadian.
Under the hood, it’s powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor paired with an Adreno 613 GPU. The company claims an Antutu score of 450,000+ and boasts up to 12GB of RAM.
Other details include speakers with up to 150% volume boost, and it runs on Android 14 with a HyperOS skin. Camera, battery, and design details have not yet been mentioned, but the Flipkart listing uses “Big Shots” for the cameras, “Built For Big Plans” for the battery, and “Designed To Show Off” for its design.
The official pricing of the Poco M7 5G has not been revealed, but we expect it to offer a budget-friendly 5G smartphone, in line with its M-series predecessors. The phone is listed on the Poco store on Flipkart and is expected to be available in other Indian markets and retailers after its official launch on March 3, 2025.
