Vivo has introduced the Y50 series in China. The Vivo Y50 5G features a sleek design and massive battery capacity. Available in Platinum White, Sky Blue, and Diamond Black colorways, the phone starts at CNY 1,199 for the 4GB/128GB storage variant and can be purchased via the Vivo shop.
Aside from that, it also launched its sibling, the Vivo Y50m, with almost identical design and specifications. Both are currently available in China, while availability in other countries has not yet been announced.
Vivo Y50 5G Features and Specifications
The phone sports a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ (1600 x 720) resolution. It measures 167.30mm x 76.95mm x 8.19mm and weighs about 204 grams.
Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor complemented by an Arm-Mali-G57 MC GPU. Memory options include 4GB to 12GB of RAM, and storage options include 128GB and 256GB.
The phone runs on OriginOS 5 based on Android 15 and boasts AI features. It has a 13MP f/2.2 AF rear camera with 10x digital zoom, while the front features a 5MP f/2.2 FF selfie shooter in a waterdrop notch.
One of the phone’s main features is its massive 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery paired with 45W fast charging. Other features include an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Vivo Y50 5G offers a premium design, durable build, long-lasting battery, and decent performance at a competitive price. The phone is now available at the Vivo shop in China with product discounts and installment options.
