iQOO launches Z11 Turbo in China with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 7,600mAh battery

iQOO on Thursday unveiled the Z11 Turbo in China, adding a new performance-focused model to its Z-series lineup as a contender in the upper midrange smartphone segment.

The Z11 Turbo is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with a dedicated Q2 gaming chip, a combination the company says is aimed at sustained gaming performance and thermal stability. It also features a large 7,600mAh battery with 100W fast charging, placing it among the biggest battery-equipped phones in its class.

The display sports a 6.59-inch flat OLED LTPS display supplied by TCL CSOT, using the C9+ panel. The screen delivers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, with peak brightness rated at up to 5,000 nits and high-frequency PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.

The device also includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and a 6,500mm² vapor chamber cooling system. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, USB-C, and dual nano-SIM support.

In terms of design, the Z11 Turbo measures 157.61 x 74.42 mm, with thickness ranging from 7.9 to 8.1 mm depending on the variant. Weight ranges between 202 and 206 grams. The phone is protected by Schott Shield glass on the front, while the Midnight Black version uses a fiberglass back instead of glass.

The iQOO Z11 Turbo is available in Floating Light (blue), Halo Pink, Sky White, and Midnight Black. iQOO has not yet announced plans for availability outside China.
