iQOO has officially confirmed that the iQOO Neo 12 will launch on October 28 at 19:00 in China. The announcement was made on the brand’s official Weibo account, which also teased several key specifications and official design of the upcoming phone.
According to the official teaser, the iQOO Neo 12 will feature a 2K display with a 185Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with a dedicated Q3 gaming chip. To keep things cool, the phone will use an Ice Dome active cooling system with a built-in cooling fan and a redesigned airflow channel.
The device is also confirmed to pack a large 9,000mAh battery, which should be one of its main selling points for gamers and heavy users.
As reported earlier, the phone is currently open for pre-orders in China. The pre-order period is expected to end on October 27, just a day before the official launch on October 28. We will update this story with full specifications and pricing once the phone is officially unveiled.
