Apple is expected to kick off its 2026 product cycle with the launch of the iPhone 17e, which is tipped to debut on February 19, 2026, according to early reports. The new model is said to arrive alongside a broader lineup of Apple hardware planned for the year, including the iPad 12th generation, refreshed Macs, and a new iPad Air.
Bloomberg Managing Editor Mark Gurman, posting on X, claims the iPhone 17e will start at $599, matching the launch price of the current iPhone 16e. If accurate, the pricing suggests Apple will continue positioning the “e” series as a more affordable entry point into its flagship lineup.
Despite the internal upgrades, the iPhone 17e is expected to retain a single rear camera, similar to its predecessor. Gurman also noted that Apple could introduce MagSafe support on the device, marking a notable upgrade for the lineup and enabling faster wireless charging.
Under the hood, the iPhone 17e is rumored to be powered by Apple’s next-generation A19 Bionic chip, alongside updated in-house connectivity hardware. These changes point to a focus on performance and efficiency rather than major design shifts.
