Nintendo confirms Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer for Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will release on Thursday, July 16, 2026. This release date applies to Japan and Asia, including the Philippines. The game is developed by Imagineer and published internationally by Nintendo. Local pricing details have not yet been announced.
The Switch 2 Edition builds on the Switch version released December 5, 2024. It keeps the series focus on “fitness that starts today,” using Joy-Con controllers to track punches to music under a virtual trainer.
Key modes available at launch:
- Personal Program, adjusted daily to the player’s condition
- Quick Workout for short sessions
- Sit Fit Boxing, Mitt Drills, and Tai Chi
- calendar-based progress tracking with the option to exclude specific moves
What’s new on Nintendo Switch 2
Camera Play for form correction: Connect a Nintendo Switch 2 Camera or compatible USB camera, sold separately, to show your live image beside the instructor for real-time form checks.
Local multiplayer for up to 4 players: GameShare Match lets up to four players compete together in Score Battle and Sudden Death.
Boost Up Mode and Advanced Judgment Mode: Boost Up raises song BPM up to 200 for high-intensity sets. Advanced Judgment gives detailed feedback on punch timing and speed.
Enhanced graphics: The game runs with higher resolution and frame rate on Switch 2 hardware.
Upgrade and demo in the Philippines
Players who own Fitness Boxing 3 on Nintendo Switch can move to the Switch 2 Edition via a paid Upgrade Pass on Nintendo eShop. A free demo of the standard Fitness Boxing 3 is currently available on Nintendo Switch console via eShop.
Imagineer reports the Fitness Boxing series has sold more than three million units worldwide.
In other related Nintendo news, Mixtape was recently announced for Switch 2 and will go on sale on May 22, 2026, through the eShop. It will be priced at $17.99, which works out to around ₱1,088 based on current exchange rates.
