Vivo India has published official details for the Vivo S2 via its newsroom, confirming the smartphone will launch in the country on August 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. The announcement includes full key specifications, launch color options, and core hardware features.
The device will be released in three finishes: Silk White, Sapphire Blue, and Regal Bronze. It has a listed thickness of 7.99mm, marketed by the brand as an ultra-slim design.

On the imaging side, a noted confirmed capability is 4K video recording support on both the front and rear camera sensors. The Aura Light Portrait feature is also listed as part of the camera software suite.
