Honor Magic9 Series Receives CCC Certification in China, Three Screen Sizes Confirmed

The Honor Magic9 series has been officially registered in the China Compulsory Certification database on August 28, 2026, according to tipster Smart Pikachu posting on Weibo.

The certification is managed by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China and the China Quality Certification Center, marking a key regulatory step toward the phones’ official launch. Which means it has passed the required safety and quality checks and is now one step closer to official launch.

The tipster shared that the lineup will be available in three variants. Two standard models will come with 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch displays, while a third 6.8-inch model carries the “Wind Chaser” designation, suggesting a specialized or performance-focused version within the series.

As we reported earlier, the Honor Magic 9 is rumored to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with an 8,000mAh battery and a 200MP main camera. Receiving CCC certification typically means the device has passed safety and quality testing and is cleared for sale in the Chinese market, bringing the official announcement one step closer.
