Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Launched in China with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 11,000mAh Battery

Xiaomi has officially launched its upgraded tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro. The device features a larger 11,000mAh battery, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, and a 50MP rear camera. It was unveiled alongside the base model on August 14, 2026. The launch took place in China, with sales available through official Xiaomi channels.

To recall, the Pad 9 and Pad 9 Pro appeared on 3C certification listings ahead of their official launch, confirming the 11,000mAh battery and 67W fast charging. Early rumors also suggested these devices do not use the Xring O3 chip, which is exclusive to the top tier Pad 9 Pro Max.
