Honor Magic 9 Pro Max Launched in China with Dual 200MP ARRI Cameras and Starting Price of CNY 6,499

Honor has officially launched the Magic 9 Pro Max in China with a starting price of CNY 6,499 or about PHP 60,500. It features dual 200MP ARRI cameras and supports external telephoto converter lenses. It comes with four storage variants up to 1TB and is available in Moss Green, Shadow Black, and Silver Salt colorways.

Honor Magic 9 Pro Max Features

The phone sports a 6.8 inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 1 to 120Hz LTPO refresh rate. It reaches up to 10,000 nits peak brightness and uses high frequency PWM dimming.

Under the hood, it is powered by the newly launched 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor. It runs MagicOS 11 based on Android 17. The brand claims the phone scores over 5.5 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark, as shared during the launch event.

For imaging, it has a 200MP main camera with OmniVision OV52A sensor and OIS, a 50MP ultra wide camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with Samsung S5KHPE sensor and up to 200x digital zoom. The front uses a 55MP sensor paired with a 3D depth sensing camera.

Honor has also partnered with Arnold and Richter Cine Technik known as ARRI, the legendary German maker of professional digital cinema cameras used in Hollywood and high end filmmaking.
