Honor X5d s Officially Launched in South Africa with Dual Screen in an Entry-level Smartphone

Honor has officially launched the Honor X5d s in South Africa, bringing a dual display to the entry-level segment. The phone comes with 4GB + 64GB storage and is available in Forest Green and Midnight Black colorways.

Dual Screen in the Entry-level Smartphone

One of the main highlights of the phone is its dual screen, a feature usually seen in flagship smartphones today. The main display measures 6.78-inch HD+ with a 90Hz refresh rate, while the back panel houses a 2.01-inch LCD display.

Under the hood, it is powered by the Unisoc T610 processor and runs on Android 16 Go Edition. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, plus an additional 4GB extended RAM feature.

For photography, it uses a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor. One interesting feature is that the back display can be used to frame selfies taken with the main rear camera. On the front, it has a punch-hole 5MP f/2.0 selfie camera for standard selfies and video calls.

The device is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery paired with 15W wired charging. Other features include IP52 dust and splash resistance and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
