The iQOO Pad Pro is one of the most interesting compact Android tablets to arrive this year. It packs an 8.8-inch screen, a flagship Snapdragon chipset, and active cooling inside a body that weighs just 298 grams. It is clearly built for mobile gamers who want something smaller and easier to hold than a full-size 12-inch slate.
A quick hands-on review shared by PT Miscellaneous Talk on Weibo gives us an early look at how the device feels in daily use. Here is what we know so far.
First Impressions From the Hands-On
One of the first questions people ask about any new tablet is whether the screen looks sharp. According to the reviewer, the display is generally fine, but the default system font has low contrast which can make text look slightly soft compared to an iPad Pro. Switching to the system’s classic font is recommended, as it noticeably improves the viewing experience.

The unit used in the review was manufactured on October 17 and arrived with a system update already installed. That update added a game information band feature and brought general game performance optimizations. It is a good sign that iQOO is still actively tuning the software ahead of wider rollout.
The 2K OLED panel is likely supplied by Visionox, the same supplier used for the larger iQOO Pad Ultra. Viewing angles are reported to be quite good, though whether it causes eye fatigue after long gaming sessions still needs more testing.

Other quick notes from the hands-on: the document-scanning camera quality is surprisingly decent, and the active cooling fan runs very quietly when set to smart mode.
